Born in the Lowlands of the Netherlands, Anke has lived in the Highlands of Scotland for nearly 40 years. During this time she has walked, skied and cycled in the Cairngorms, and taught at a Field Centre in the area. During that time she has photographed landscapes and wildlife, both locally and further afield.

Anke's images have been included in exhibitions and publications and she has also achieved success in "Scottish Nature Photography Awards" and "British Wildlife Photography Awards".
