The book, "The Living Cairngorms", contains approximately 250 colour images and is inspired by the Nan Shepherd
publication "The Living Mountain". The photographer followed the chapters of Nan
Shepherd's book, i.e. "The Mountains", "Air & Light", "Water, Snow & Ice",
"Plants & Insects", "Birds & Animals", introducing each subject with a quote
from the writer.
Copies of this hardback coffee table book (28.5cm by 21.5 cm) can be ordered directly from
